The media launch will be held at around 7PM tonight at the NBC Tent.

Update as of May 28, 2012, 10PM

The official suggested retail price of Samsung Galaxy S3 is Php 32,990. That's Php 3,000 less than the SRP of Samsung Galaxy S2 during its launch last year.

If it's your first time to hear about this phone, which is highly unlikely, Samsung Galaxy S3 - being the top-of-the-line handset of the Korean giant for this year - not only features a bigger 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display and a re-imagined glazed design but also comes with key enhancements to its innards; Most notable of which is the new quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 Exynos 4212 chipset processor, which promises to deliver the fastest and most power-efficient Android ICS performance. You can learn more about Samsung Galaxy S3 via our exclusive TP feature.

SGS3 - all things considered - is an incredible handset but it's by no means peerless. Samsung Galaxy S3 will enter the market with a number of formidable competitors; both already out and those which are about to be released. Of course, there's the quad-core-powered Android ICS handset HTC One X, the Nokia Lumia 900 giving users to chance to experience Windows Phone - which could very well be the leading smartphone OS in the near future - on a flagship handset, the LG Optimus 4X HD which - according to our insider - will definitely arrive in the Philippines within this year, the Nokia 808 PureView with its unprecedented 41 MegaPixel camera with Xenon flash, and of course, the new iPhone that's expected to be announced by Apple early next month.

So now that Samsung Galaxy S3 is officially available for retail in the Philippines, I wanna ask you; Are you getting it now or will you wait for the announcement and release of flagship handsets by other companies?
