How to Upgrade Nokia Symbian Smartphone Firmware or Update Software : Step by Step Demo Video

Just because Nokia has already adopted Microsoft's Windows Phone as operating system of all its future smartphones doesn't mean the company will drop all support for its previous handsets running Symbian OS.

In fact, Nokia has just released another firmware update for Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, and Nokia C6-01 called Nokia Belle Refresh. This upgrade brings a slew of enhancements to the OS and its interface, which include a revamped browser with HTML5 support, Nokia Maps Suite 3.09, pre-installed Big Screen and DLNA play apps, and several new home screen widgets for social networking, notes, and gallery.

Under Device Manager, click Options icon on the lower right corner, check for updates, then download and install. Wait for the phone to restart, and voila! You have the latest version of the firmware! Easy!
