Release Date and Pricing Details

Just this afternoon, we received information from a very reliable source that Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 will be released in the Philippines this coming June. Last week, another source told us that Globe Telecom will be the official and sole carrier of Samsung Galaxy S2 in the country. Note that these information have yet to be confirmed by Samsung Philippines.

As for pricing, Samsung Galaxy S2 currently comes with an SRP of $750 (or roughly Php 32,000 with current conversion) in the United States. I'm inclined to believe that the phone don a similar price tag when it finally reaches our shores.

Update as of June 20, 2011
We've just received word from Samsung Philippines that the official suggested retail price of Samsung Galaxy S2 in the country is Php 29,990.

We'll update this post as soon we get more info about the handset. Stay tuned.
