Last May 29, 2015 - at F1 Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Boompods officially launched its full product line-up here in the Philippines in partnership with Macpower Marketing Corporation - the brand's official local distributor - and Lazada, the country's biggest online store.
For those who are wondering, Boompods is a global electronics company that specializes in crafting and selling accessories from headphones to powerbanks, car chargers to loud speakers. Boompods has offices and distribution partners in many countries around the world - from the United States to Germany, United Kingdom to Japan - and they've now started to be more aggressive in bringing their cool products to our country.
One of the main goals or visions of Boompods is to offer more interesting and youthful alternatives to many other gadget accessories by multi-national brands that are now flooding the market.
“We were looking at tech gadgets and [we asked ourselves], ‘Why are all the gadgets looking the same?’ I mean, speakers are square, music is coming out from the top, there’s no color, some of the companies are very conservative in their design, or it’s taking too long for newer models to come out.
