Taiwanese electronics company Asus has just made the 16GB version of new ZenFone Selfie available in India for 15,999 Rupees -- that's roughly Php 11,500 with current conversion. And a few days ago, one of our reliable insiders from Asus Philippines disclosed to be that the handset is just about ready to be launched here. Exciting, eh?
If you're not yet familiar with it, Asus ZenFone Selfie - like what its name suggests - is made specifically for users who love to take self-portraits (with or without their friends) and demand good technical specifications from their daily driver apart from its imaging capabilities.
According to Asus, ZenFone Selfie ZD551KL is a trailblazing or landmark fusion of fashion, technology and craftsmanship allowing users see their ideal selves, with dual 13 MegaPixel autofocus cameras both featuring laser auto-focus for ultra-fast shots with complete clarity and the company's very own PixelMaster technology that enhances the quality of shots across various lighting conditions.
These two shooters are engineered with five-prism Largan lenses and top-notch Toshiba sensors, and include dual-LED (orange and yellow) Real Tone flash technology for perfect illumination in any setting. Thanks to laser autofocus innovation and stellar optics, ZenFone Selfie is also capable of delivering superb macro photography that works on subjects as close as 6cm
In terms of looks, the ZenFone Selfie flaunts an ergonomic Arc design language making it a joy to have in the palm of one's hand and features an intuitive rear key that makes capturing selfies easier than ever, with live digital cosmetic effects (via Beautification Mode) to instantly enhance your self-shots. Asus Philippines hasn't official word yet regarding the phone's local availability but personally, I'm expecting to it land here within this month, August 2015, with SRP starting at around Php 11,500 to Php 12,000 for the model with 2GB of RAM.
