Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 with Quad Rear Camera and Punch Hole Selfie Cam, Coming Soon?

Purported specs and design renders of two yet-to-be-confirmed Samsung Galaxy Android smartphones are now starting to surface online.

These handsets, which are being called by "insiders" as the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A71, appear to be updated versions of the best-selling Samsung Galaxy A50s and Samsung Galaxy A70 midrange handsets released earlier in 2019.

Various sources claim that Samsung Galaxy A71 will feature a massive 6.7-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED Display with Punch Hole notch housing a 32 MegaPixel selfie camera; Giving it a face that's reminiscent of the flagship-level Samsung Galaxy Note10 albeit lacking curved edges. It is said that this model will also have a Quad Rear Camera set-up that's made up of a 48 MegaPixel primary camera, 12 MegaPixel ultra-wide secondary shooter, 12 MegaPixel telephoto or zoom cam, and a 3D TOF sensor. Other highlights include Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor running One UI skinned Android 10 operating system, 8GB of RAM for smooth multi-tasking, an Optical In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, and a sizable 4,500 mAh Li-Po battery pack.

On the other hand, it is rumored that Samsung Galaxy A51 will have a 6.5-inch FullHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display also with Punch Hole notch for a 32MP selfie shooter, an Optical In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, a Quad Cam Module at the back - consisting of a 48MP main cam, 12MP telephoto shooter - which you won't find on the Samsung Galaxy A50 and A50s, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5 MegaPixel Depth Sensor, a 10nm Exynos 9611 processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a large 4,000 mAh Li-Po battery.

Both of these rumored Galaxy models are expected to be officially announced by the Korean Giant in key markets either later in December 2019 or early in January 2020 with Samsung Galaxy A71 being the more expensive model of the two. As for their prices, I believe the SRPs will be rather close to price tags of the Galaxy A50s and A70 upon launch.

Based on everything I've seen and read about these two devices, I'm inclined to believe that they're for real. I'm excited and I hope you are too. Stay tuned for updates.
