realme Watch S Pro Philippines Price, Unboxing, Actual Photos, Features, and Initial Review

On Tuesday - March 2, 2021 - at around 6PM, hotshot tech brand realme officially launched a slew of new products in its "TechLife" category.

According to the company, the launch of these TechLife devices is part of their aim to make smart home technology more accessible to Filipinos.

One of the products unveiled at the virtual event - which was publicly shown on Facebook - was the realme watch S Pro, which is depicted in these photos. This wearable dons an official suggested retail price of PHP 8,990 but if you will purchase it via 3.3 Sale, you can get it for only PHP 7,690, which is PHP 1,300 off!

realme Watch S Pro is currently the most premium of all smartwatches in realme's current line-up. If you remember, last year, the company released the realme watch and realme Watch S, both of which are more affordable than this fresh release.

Moving forward to the unboxing, realme Watch S Pro ships in a rectangular yellow box with an image of the device printed on top and the smartwatch's key selling points neatly listed down at the bottom.

The official retail package includes the unit itself, the charging pad, and the user manual. I like that there are not too many unnecessary add-ons inside.

realme watch S Pro features an elegant and robust stainless steel body, polycarbonate backplate, and scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass face.

The circular SuperAMOLED screen has a diameter of 1.39 inches and 454 x 454 pixels, delivering a high 326 ppi density.

The pre-installed straps are made of silicone but you can easily swap a 22mm leather strap if you prefer that. Right now, I'm not sure if realme will sell strap options in various colors and materials in the future.

As of writing, there's only one colorway available for this smartwatch: Black.

To start using realme Watch S Pro, you'd have to activate it by pair the wearable with your smartphone through realme Link application that you can download from Google Play Store. You don't necessarily need a realme smartphone to do this. Pairing is as easy as scanning the QR code on the Watch S Pro's screen when you turn it on for the first time.

Apart from its gorgeous and elegant design as well as the bright and brilliant display, realme Watch S Pro also has several strong selling points that will surely have many young and young-at-heart consumers looking.

For one, there's an entire fitness and training section covering various sports and activities that can help you get the most physical benefits from your sessions.

There's also a Heart Rate Monitor and a Blood Oxygen Level Checker, which can be handy for those who are always inside enclosed spaces like office cubicles and conference rooms.

A new feature on the realme Watch S Pro is the GPS Tracker, which can help you find your "paired" smartphone in case you accidentally leave it somewhere.

For me, one of the most attractive features of the realme Watch S Pro is its tremendous 10-hours of battery life, coming from a full charge of its 420 mAh Li-Ion pack! Yup! Believe it! Talk about not having to remove it to put it on top of the charging pad when you wear it on a short out-of-town trip.

Of course, it also doesn't hurt that the pre-installed watch faces are absolutely beautiful and that the interface is very easy to navigate.

The dual processor also greatly minimizes the chances of lags, stuttering, and crashes when you swipe your finger across the interface.

Offhand, based on its competitive price, the downright handsome design and build, the large and vibrant display, the strong feature-set, long battery life, and its overall air of sophistication while having an active youthful vibe, I think I'm highly inclined to recommend realme Watch S Pro. Go ahead and grab it this 3.3 to get that big discount.
