Unboxing and Package Contents

Upon receiving the realme 11, the first thing that catches your eye is the familiar yellow and black box that has become synonymous with realme.

What sets this packaging apart is the subtle rays as a design detail on the box, which adds a unique touch.

The box's cover prominently displays the model's name, making it easily recognizable, and the bottom of the box highlights the key features of the realme 11, giving potential buyers a quick overview of what to expect.

Design Check

The realme 11 is available in two captivating colorways, Glory Gold and Dark Glory. For this article, we're focusing on the Dark Glory variant. This smartphone's dimensions are 159.9 x 73.3 x 8 mm, and it weighs a mere 178 grams, making it both slim and lightweight.

The polycarbonate back panel of the Dark Glory model boasts a sand-blasted, matte finish, which beautifully contrasts with the high-gloss circular camera module. Depending on how the light hits the back plate, it exhibits a subtle purple undertone, adding a touch of elegance.

The realme 11 boasts a massive display with a small punch hole in the upper left corner for the front-facing camera. This design choice maximizes screen real estate, providing an immersive viewing experience.

On the right side of the phone, you'll find the volume rocker and the power button, which conveniently incorporates a fingerprint scanner. The left side houses the SIM card tray, which can be ejected using the provided metal pin.

realme 11's circular camera module which is positioned very close to the upper left corner of the back panel, for me, is the identifying physical characteristic of this model.

Housing two rear cameras plus the LED flash, this camera module is surprisingly not that that protruding and I think its off-center placement makes the design more interesting and eye-catching.

On the top of the phone, there's only a microphone pinhole. At the rear, you'll find a 3.5mm combo jack, another microphone pinhole, the USB Type C port, and a row of four holes for the loudspeaker. The inclusion of a 3.5mm combo jack is a noteworthy feature, as it has become a rarity in smartphones. This will delight those who still prefer using wired headphones, as there's no need for an adapter with this device.

The realme 11 is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G99, a chipset that brings 4G gaming smartphones into the next generation.
