Apparently, in response to a letter received by its management from Department of Education Secretary Jesli Lapuz, LBC has asked its ad agency to stop airing and altogether pull out its new and rather memorable Remittance Spelling Bee TVC series:


This series is composed of three TVC's each showing a wiz kid spelling the words "Remittance", "Instant" and "Affordable" as simply L-B-C.

The ads were said to be pulled out because:

...it may give students bad spelling habits.

Seriously. Believe it or not.
