OPPO F5 Youth and OPPO F5 6GB RAM Version, To Be Released in the Philippines?

TechPinas Correspondent Charles Quiachon was walking around TriNoma Mall in North EDSA this afternoon - October 19, 2017 - when he spotted a promotional material being prepared to be displayed inside an IntoGadgets store branch.

The poster shows a photo of the upcoming OPPO F5 Android smartphone, which has a button-less full view display, in two colors: Red and Black.

This shot of the handset has been disclosed before so it wasn't that much of a deal. But what's interesting in this illustration-board-sized promo material is that below the image, OPPO listed down all the models of OPPO F5 that I believe they'll bring to our country.

Of course, there's the regular OPPO F5 with a rumored 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display. And amazingly, there's also the OPPO F5 with 6GB of RAM (hinting that the standard model will only have 4GB of RAM) and the OPPO F5 Youth, which I personally haven't heard anything about until now.

Charles then tried to ask the store staff how much each of the handset models will cost and what will be their technical specifications. However, they said they can't confirm any detail about the devices until they have officially been launched.

One of the sales reps, nonetheless, gave a hint that one of the three models will have a price tag in the range of Php 16,000 to Php 17,000 ($310 to $330 USD) and will have a free Bluetooth Speaker. Interesting, right? I hope it's for real.

OPPO Philippines will formally launch the OPPO F5 via a grand media event on October 26, 2017. We'll get all official information about the selfie-centric midrange handset - as well the two other models in the poster, hopefully - by then. Stay tuned for updates, TP Friends!
