MyPhone my28 888 Pesos Smart Prepaid Bundle, A Huge Success!
On its official social media accounts, Pinoy handset company MyPhone has just started posting photos of so many Pinoy consumers lining up at their stores across the country to purchase the brand's latest entry-level Android handset, MyPhone my28 -- currently being offered in partnership with Smart Communications.
I'm still waiting for the official numbers but according to TechPinas' trusted source inside the company, MyPhone is selling close to 100 units of this model per hour in some key outlets! That's tremendous market performance for a local smartphone release.
So what's the key to the success of MyPhone my28? Two things.
First, the device is plain ultra-affordable. Can you imagine: For only Php 888, you already get an Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone with a 4-inch WVGA display, 5 MegaPixel main camera, 2 MP front cam, 1.2 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A7 and Mali 400 based Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset, 512 MB of RAM, and 8GB of expandable storage! Again, all that for just 888 Pesos! If you can't call this a 'great value for money Android phone', I seriously don't know what else to tag it.
