Huawei Nova 4 With Triple Rear Camera and 8GB RAM, To Be Announced on December 17, 2018

Feels like only yesterday when Huawei Philippines officially launched the gorgeous Huawei Nova 3 with its gradient color finish and AI powered cameras.

Now, the Chinese tech giant has just confirmed that the follow-up to that model is already slated for global announcement on December 17, 2018!

Huawei Nova 4

The Huawei Nova 4 builds upon all the strong selling points of its predecessor while having new features that will surely delight young and active consumers who love flaunting a beautiful handset that can also be relied on for snapping clear and crisp photos in various lighting conditions.

Design-wise, like the Nova 3, this model will also have a glass-metal-glass build with gradient color finish. However, Huawei Nova 4 will come in new, more eye-catching hues including the one shown below, which appears to have a Deep Red to Bright Purple tone.

Aside from its looks, Nova 4 also has three other stand-out qualities or features that make it a true upgrade coming from the Nova 3.

First, it no longer has a big notch on its 6.4-inch FullHD+ display. Instead, like the recently unveiled Honor View 20, it has an in-screen front-facing camera located at the upper left corner, giving users a larger real estate for watching movies, viewing photos, or reading blogs.

Second, unlike Nova 3 that has only two cameras at the back, this new release has an AI-powered Triple Rear Camera module, which is made up of a 20 MegaPixels f/1.8 primary camera, a 16MP f/2.2 secondary shooter for lossless zoom, and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor for Bokeh Effect.

Side Note: Some sources claim that the primary camera will have a 48 MegaPixel resolution. For me, this suggests that Huawei will most likely release two variants of this model.

And finally, Huawei Nova 4 will have a whopping 8GB of RAM versus just 6GB on Nova 3. Having more RAM will allow this newer model to breeze through multiple open apps and games as well as to deliver an overall smoother mobile experience.

As for Nova 4's price, I'm guessing that it will be more or less similar to that of the Huawei Nova 3 upon launch, which is around PHP 27,000 to PHP 30,000.
