NBA 3X Philippines Hosts Denver Nuggets’ Monte Morris and Muggsy Bogues at Vivo Concept Store Event

Vivo, in collaboration with the National Basketball Association (NBA), showcased NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues and Denver Nuggets’ Monté Morris at the Vivo concept store in SM Megamall Cyberzone, Mandaluyong City on August 2, 2019, engaging with Filipino basketball enthusiasts as part of the NBA 3X Philippines festivities.

During their visit to the Vivo concept store at SM Megamall, an NBA enthusiast captures a moment with Denver Nuggets’ Monté Robert Morris and iconic NBA figure Tyrone Curtis "Muggsy" Bogues.

NBA 3X Philippines 2019, presented by AXA, features an elite 3-on-3 basketball tournament adhering to FIBA 3x3 format and NBA-style entertainment, with 260 men’s and women’s teams competing for top honors in its ninth consecutive year.

NBA Philippines Managing Director Carlo Singson, Global Marketing Partnerships Director Mae Dichupa, NBA Asia Business Development Director Hubert Ling, and Global Marketing Partnerships Senior Manager Renzo Robles, alongside Vivo Philippines Vice President of Operations Zeng Kai, Vice President of Sales Hazel Bascon, and Trade Marketing Director Michael Wang, also graced the concept store visit.

Monté Morris, averaging 10.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in the 2018-19 season, is known for his contributions to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League.

Standing at 5’3”, Bogues, with a remarkable 14-year career, holds the distinction of being the shortest player in NBA history. Drafted 12th overall by the Washington Bullets in the 1987 NBA Draft, he led the Charlotte Hornets franchise in assists (5,557) and steals (1,067).
