On February 5, 2020 at Yes Please! in BGC Taguig City, HMD Global Philippines formally introduced two new Android smartphones that are targeted towards consumers who are just leveling up from their feature phones.
The Nokia 2.3 is the more pricey model of the two but I think this one has several key features that will make it very enticing to young Filipinos who are now planning to get a full-fledged smartphone without spending too much money.
One of the most attractive selling points of Nokia 2.3 is its large 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, which is sizable enough to provide an enjoyable visual experience when browsing social media apps, viewing videos, or reading blogs.
I think mobile consumers who are still using a basic phone with an alpha-numeric keypad will find this feature particularly amazing.
Design-wise, Nokia 2.3's shell is made completely of polycarbonate or coated plastic. Sure, it doesn't have the elegant frills and embellishments of more expensive Android smartphones in the market but I think some users will find this no-non-sense look quite pleasing. The back also has a textured finish which doesn't only make it quite unique but also helps the exterior attract less fingerprint grime.
