LG Optimus 2X SU660 : Specs, Features - Beats Samsung Galaxy S in Screen Refresh Rate Test!

LG's 2011 flagship Android phone, LG Star P990, will come in another name once it sees release in Asian markets.

If LG will bother (or perhaps more appropriately, risk) bringing LG Star in the Philippines early next year, the phone will be called LG Optimus 2X --

Once it gets released, LG Optimus 2X will be the very first smartphone to be powered by a dual core chip, 1 Ghz Dual-Core NVIDIA Tegra 2 to be exact.

Having such powerful processor means that this phone can easily beat other smartphones in the market today in multiple benchmark tests and perhaps even set a new standard in how we see smartphones.

Watch LG Optimus 2X practically slay and embarrass Samsung Galaxy S in this screen refresh rate test --

Amazing.

But what makes LG Optimus 2X a terrifying competition in its category isn't just its powerful chip. This smartphone also comes with top-of-the-line features and specifications. Sporting a massive 4" display, Optimus 2X flaunts an 8 MegaPixel camera with Autofocus and LED flash. This camera is also capable of recording 1080p high-definition videos, which is the highest of the HD resolutions commonly available right now. As for connectivity options, LG Optimus 2X supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G and Bluetooth 2.1. Some of the ports that you will find on the device include HDMI for TV out and microUSB v2.0.

As yet, LG hasn't released any official statement on LG Optimus 2X. As such, pricing details and exact release date aren't available as of the moment.

Please stay tuned for updates on this phone and its availability in Asia Pacific.
