Cherry Mobile Phone Quality : TV Patrol Bayan Mo I-Patrol Mo - Hot Issue

Caught this on TV Patrol just a few minutes ago.

Dissatisfied Cherry Mobile customers had decided to get in touch with TV Patrol's Bayan Mo iPatrol Mo regarding problems they are experiencing or have experienced on their CM phones.

Quoting the complainants;

"Our newly bought Cherry Mobile Q6i had already gone defective barely a month after we purchased it. This is bad customer service I can tell."

[trans. So-called special features can not be utilized properly. One of which is MMS/GPRS setting. All service providers say they don't support Cherry Mobile.]

While Cherry Mobile is apologetic in the face of serious complaints, the company maintains that the number of returned defective units is - technically - still within the normal or manageable range. Also, supposedly to better serve customers, the company had decided to open four new hotline numbers.

TP friends, I haven't actually owned a Cherry Mobile handset so I really can't comment on the quality of the company's phones. Do you own one? What can you say about it?

  2. Hi! Year 2009, I bought a Cherry Mobile M35 ok naman sya at gumagana naman gprs and mms pero sobrang bagal talaga. Preinstalled na ung settings ng Smart, Sun at Globe, all u have to do is to activate it with your preferred service provider by selecting the sim on the settings of internet service but make sure that the account matches on your sim (ex. account shoul be smart internet for smart sim). For MMS, go to Messages then MMS select MMS settings then edit account choose Smart MMS for Smart Sim (same with other networks ex. Globe MMS for Globe SIM, etc) then click options and select activate.
