POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro, Officially Launched in the Philippines!

Formally introduced in MWC 2022, the all-new POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro represent a great leap in quality and performance compared to their predecessors -- and what's great is that they are now officially available for purchase here in the Philippines.

POCO X4 Pro 5G

The POCO X4 Pro 5G features a large 6.67-inch AMOLED DotDisplay screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It is, in fact, the first time that POCO has used AMOLED for the X series so this model is very special in that sense.

The AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution can automatically adjust its brightness to match the user's environment. Furthermore, with an SGS Eye Care certification, the POCO X4 Pro 5G's screen is easier on the eyes even during long gaming sessions.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G sports 108MP main camera with large 1/1.52" sensor for great low-light performance. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2MP macro cam, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies in front. As for video recording, the smartphone's main camera at the back can shoot  FullHD 1080p 30/60fps clips while the one in front records FullHD 1080p 30fps videos. Some imaging features include panoramic selfie, slow motion, dual-video, time-lapse video, super macro, film filters, and kaleidoscope mode.

This well-rounded handset is powered by a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor which has an embedded Adreno 619 GPU for more than decent gaming performance. In addition to having 8GB of RAM, the POCO X4 Pro 5G offers an additional 3GB of RAM transformed from the 256GB of ROM thanks to Expansion Technology Dynamic RAM, making it ideal for lag-free mobile gaming on top of providing a smooth 5G-ready user experience.

According to the company, POCO X4 Pro 5G's 5,000mAh battery guarantees 15 hours of video playback, 25 hours of reading, and 191 hours of music playtime. This pack supports fast charging at 67W so the user can get 70% charge from 0% in just 22 minutes and 100% charge in about 45 minutes! Believe it!

POCO X4 Pro 5G comes with dual speakers for loud and clear stereo sound and a Z-axis linear motor for stronger vibrations with crisper, more accurate feedback during gameplay. Finally, there's MIUI 13, with new features and performance improvements to optimize the user experience.

POCO M4 Pro

POCO M4 Pro flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 2400 x 1800 pixels FHD+ resolution.

The handset's triple camera setup is made up of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro cam. The module also comes with features that allow users to capture every moment of their day, including slow-motion video, time-lapse video and night mode. For selfies, this smartphone has a 16MP front camera delivering clear self-portraits.

Vloggers, TikTokers, and Youtube content creators can take advantage of this model's FullHD 30/60fps video recorder at the back and FullHD 30fps front shooter.

Under the hood, this model runs on the 12nm 2.05GHz Octa-Core Mediatek Helio G96 processor, has 8GB and 6GB RAM options, and comes with either 128GB and 256GB ROM. Storage can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of aesthetics, the POCO M4 Pro has a thickness of 8.09 mm and 179.5g weight, which makes it the brand's lightest smartphone to date.

Both models are now officially available here in the Philippines via offline outlets and online stores.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G comes in three colors - Laser Black, Laser Blue, and POCO Yellow - and in two versions, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, for PHP 14,990 and PHP 15,990, respectively.

On the other hand, the POCO M4 Pro also comes in three colors - Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow - and in two versions 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Prices are PHP 10,490 and PHP 11,990, respectively.
