Marcelito Pomoy can finally wipe the tears off his eyes.
Abandoned by his family when his father got jailed, young poultry-boy Marcelito grew up in Cavite wishing that he could crawl out of poverty so he can have enough money to look for his estranged loved ones.
Despite having a life full of trials and tribulations, Marcelito was nonetheless blessed by God with the one thing that can help him achieve his dreams: Raw talent. Without any formal training in vocal performance, Marcelito can masterfully and seamlessly shift between male and female singing registers, a talent that could only have come from the good Lord.
Using his golden voice, Marcelito (now with the moniker 'Male Diva') joined ABS-CBN's Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2. With every show, the 25-year old wowed not only the judges but also the viewing public, which consistently supported him with text votes. His popularity eventually spilled over online when one of his performances - specifically his audition video - became a monster hit on Youtube, so far getting more than 1.6 Million views.
