Symbian Anna on Nokia N8, Nokia C7, C6-01 and Nokia E7 : SOON!
The freshest enhancement to the Symbian operating system - simply called Symbian Anna - is coming to Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01 and Nokia E7 soon as a firmware update.
How soon is soon?
No exact date as of yet -- just 'in the near future'. I'm guessing it will be within this second quarter though.
What new features does Symbian Anna bring?
1. Smooth scrolling on home screen - the screen now follows your finger when you swipe on it.
2. New icons
3. Faster browser with improved user interface
4. Refreshed Ovi Maps experience with public transport routes and quicker search.
5. Enhanced enterprise grade security on email and messaging
6. On-screen QWERTY keyboard in portrait orientation
7. And the best part: It's just the first of a series of updates for the Symbian OS.
