"In today’s social world, capturing and sharing video is more important than ever. The Nokia Lumia 930 provides the perfect blend of Microsoft and Lumia to deliver cutting-edge imaging technology for an unrivalled video and imaging experience on a smartphone," shared Mr. Karel Holub, Microsoft Mobile Devices' General Manager for the Philippines.

Nokia Lumia 930 running Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system truly integrates the best of Microsoft and Nokia's legendary mobile photography heritage to deliver the ultimate video and imaging experience on a smartphone.

According to Nokia by Microsoft, the Lumia 930 packs a rich suite of differentiating applications and services into a beautifully crafted design with metallic details and vibrant new colors, while keeping content like photos, videos and documents in sync across Windows Phone, PC, and tablet devices.
  • The crystal clear 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display lets users watch their favorite shows, movies or video clips in any condition, and thanks to the non-removable 2,420 Li-Ion mAh battery pack (allowing the device to stay slim) and built-in wireless charging, there is no need to worry about running out of battery.
  • An advanced 20 MegaPixel PureView camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and industry-leading Carl ZEISS optics make capturing and reliving amazing images and videos fast and easy.
  • With the enhanced Nokia Camera with Living Images application, it’s easy to add movement and emotion to static pictures, while imaging apps such as Nokia Storyteller, Nokia Creative Studio and Nokia Refocus bring even more levels of creativity to any photo.
  • With four high-performance microphones and Rich Recording, the Nokia Lumia 930 captures Full HD videos like never before, with incredible directional audio and support for surround sound capture and playback.
  • A 2.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and 2 GB of RAM make multitasking across activities like gaming, image capturing and video processing even faster and richer.
  • The new SensorCore also brings low power motion sensing to help people track their activity all day without using up the large 2,420 mAh battery -- perfect for exercise and exploration using apps like Bing Health and Fitness.
  • Integrated features including one swipe notifications from Action Center, the new Microsoft Enterprise Feature Pack, Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Nokia Camera, and HERE Maps and Drive+, all of which work seamlessly to make the Nokia Lumia 930 a great tool for work and play.

Nokia Lumia 930 flaunts a tough yet elegant metal frame and a matte polycarbonate back plate. And just like other high-end Lumia releases, it has a dedicated hardware camera button.

Karel added, "Our customers want to stay in the moment and capture detail-rich videos without having to compromise on image or sound quality. With beautifully integrated Microsoft and Lumia experiences, the Nokia Lumia 930 is a leading smartphone that will allow people to capture full HD video with astonishing details like never before."

As many of you know, I'm a Nokia Lumia 920 owner - I have it in what I call "glossy Sports Car Red" - and needless to say, I'm greatly looking forward to taking its natural follow-up, the Nokia Lumia 930, for a spin and letting you know my thoughts about the device.

Off hand, I think it's a gorgeous handset. If you ask me, I'll tell you it looks cuter than its predecessor -- and that's saying a lot since Nokia Lumia 920 is an absolute looker.

Now, if Lumia 930's camera has the same white balance processing as the phone it superseded, I'll be a happy man. I'm not sure if fellow Nokia Lumia 1020 and Nokia 808 PureView owners will agree with me -- but I think Nokia Lumia 920 (along with Nokia N8) has best automatic white balance processing of any cameraphone Nokia has ever released.
