Vivo V11 Philippines Price is PHP 19,999, Full Specs, Actual Photos at Official Launch

At around 7 o'clock last night - September 11, 2018, through an exclusive media and dealer event held at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La at The Fort in BGC Taguig City, Chinese smartphone company Vivo Mobile officially launched their new 2018 hero midrange Android smartphone, the Vivo V11.

Slated to go head to head with popular mid-level Android handsets that are already out in the market, including the OPPO F9 and Huawei Nova 3i, the Vivo V11 has several exciting and useful new features and selling points that will surely delight mobile consumers of all ages.

One of the sterling features of this model is its In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, which was previously only available on high-end Vivo handset models, namely the Vivo X21 and Vivo NEX.

With this sensor, you won't have to flip the phone over when it's placed on the table and you want to unlock its interface. This also allowed the company to make the display larger by limiting the size of the front bezels and to make the back panel look cleaner with no need to put as there was no need to add a circular accent housing a finger scanner.

In terms of looks, this model has a gorgeous design identity that's largely reminiscent of the handsome Vivo X21.

The back of the device features a curved glass panel with eye-catching gradient finish. The Starry Night variant, which I have here, even has shiny speckles under the glass that gleam when light hits them from certain angles.

For a smartphone with such a large screen, Vivo V11 is extremely thin, measuring just 7.9 millimeters at its thickest point, which makes it a joy both to hold and to keep in the pocket.

Speaking of the screen, this model flaunts a 6.41-inch FullHD+ SuperAMOLED panel, which is clear, crisp, and vibrant enough to deliver a compelling visual experience whether you are viewing photos on social media, watching movies on Netfix, enjoying vlogs on Youtube, or reading blogs through your favorite web browser.

As you can see in the photo above, the display has a circular notch, which the company calls "Halo". Housing only the front-facing camera as well as some sensors, this notch is diminutive enough so as not to affect your day-to-day mobile experience in a big way.

For mobile photography enthusiasts, Vivo V11 sports a Dual Rear Camera module made up of a 12 MegaPixel f/1.8 Primary Cam with a 2MP Depth Sensor. This duo enables virtual bokeh effect on photos, wherein the background of the subject is beautifully blurred.

Aside from that, this imaging set-up is AI powered, which means that it can automatically tweak settings depending on the subject that's in front of the camera to give you the best shot possible.

It also features AI Backlight HDR, which also adjust imaging settings in dim lighting conditions to give you clear and brilliant photos even when there's little ambient light.

For those who love taking selfies and groufies, this handset flaunts a 25 MegaPixel f/2.0 front cam that's powered by the company's own AI Beauty software that brushes up your skintone all while keeping the unique details of your face intact. Hence, your selfies will still look like you even after beautification effect.

Vivo V11

Under the hood, Vivo V11 runs its FunTouch OS 4.5 skinned Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with a powerful 14nm Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor that's good for gaming, has 6GB of RAM for ultra-smooth multitasking experience, and has 64GB of internal storage that you can easily beef up using the dedicated microSD card slot; No need to sacrifice Dual SIM capability just to get more space for your big files.

Vivo V11

One of the phone's key features that I have yet to explore is the new Jovi Virtual Assistant, which incorporates Jovi Smart Scene, Google Lens, and Google Assistant. You can simply talk to Jovi to ask for directions, get weather information, or even to check your calendar, among many others.

Finally, Vivo V11 is powered by a 3,400 mAh Li-Po battery pack that supports Vivo's Dual Engine Fast Charging innovation through the microUSB 2.0 port. With this technology, the phone can reach 100% full charge when plugged to an electrical outlet using the provided microUSB cable and travel charger a whole lot faster than previous Vivo hero midrange models.

You can now purchase Vivo V11 at all authorized Vivo retail outlets online and in malls starting on September 11, 2018 for an official suggested retail price of PHP 19,999. You may also pay for it via installments through Home Credit -- if you qualify. This model will initially be out in two classy and elegant colors, namely, Starry Night and Nebula with Blue-Purple Color Gradient.
