OnePlus 6T Price in the Philippines Starts at PHP 31,990 via Digital Walker

On Saturday - November 3, 2018, I confirmed - through my conversation with Mr. Charles Paw of Digits Trading Corporation - that OnePlus 6T will indeed arrive in the Philippines through Digital Walker Stores nationwide within this month, November 2018.

Today - Tuesday, November 6, 2018, I am disclosing the official suggested retail prices of all OnePlus 6T variants at the said outlets -- and I'm sure you'd be delighted to know that all the models are still quite affordable considering all of their key features and selling points.

I also got the information straight from Sir Charles, the founder of Digits Trading Corporation - the company behind Digital Walker, which is the authorized exclusive distributor of OnePlus smartphones in our country.

At 4:20 PM, I messaged him on Facebook Messenger and inquired if they already have a price schedule for all of the OnePlus 6T versions that they will be offering. Here's what he told me:

At Digital Walker, OnePlus 6T 6GB RAM + 128 GB ROM model will go for PHP 31,990, the 8GB RAM + 128 GB version will sell for PHP 33,990, and the most powerful 8GB RAM + 256 ROM model has an SRP of PHP 37,490.

In our previous conversation, Sir Charles told me that their prices for the OnePlus 6T will be more or less the same as that of the OnePlus 6 -- but they will be making adjustments based on the current exchange rate. Hence, I thought that the most affordable version will sell for around PHP 35,000. But fortunately, I was wrong.

Now, as for the official release date of the smartphones at their stores, Sir Charles told me that they are targeting November 15, 2018 -- as they await the arrival of the initial shipment at their warehouse.

Shown in the first image of this blog post, OnePlus 6T is the stellar follow-up to the wildly successful OnePlus 6 flagship killer.

This splash-proof model sports a tall 19.5:9 6.41-inch FullHD+ Optic AMOLED display with Waterdrop Notch and In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, 16 MegaPixel f/1.7 + 20 MP f/1.7 Dual Rear Camera module with OIS, EIS and PDAF that supports Portrait Mode with Bokeh Effect, 16 MegaPixel front-facing camera with Gyro-EIS and Selfie Beautification software, 4K 60fps and 1080p 240fps video recorder at the back, and a fairly large 3,700 mAh battery pack with ultra-fast 20W Dash-Charging support.

Inside its sleek glass-metal-glass sandwich enclosure, OnePlus 6T runs its Android 9.0 Pie based Oxygen OS 9.0 interface with a powerhouse 10nm Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor incorporating a beastly Adreno 630 GPU, has up to 8GB of RAM, and comes with up to 256GB of expandable storage through its hybrid secondary nanoSIM slot that can also take in a microSD card.

As I've shared, although OnePlus 6T practically the same design language, camera specs, and internal hardware as its predecessor, this fresh release nonetheless has a bigger screen with smaller notch, in-display fingerprint scanner, better low-light and auto-HDR camera features, and a larger battery pack for longer uptime.

In my opinion, if you still own a OnePlus 3, 3T, OnePlus 5, or 5T Android smartphone, the OnePlus 6T would be a great upgrade for you in almost all aspects. Sure, you can say it no longer has a 3.5mm audio jack -- but hey, perhaps it's also time to also get a cool pair of wireless earphones to go with it. As for the notch, I promise you it won't be all that annoying once you get used to it.
