Apple iPad Philippines Official Release Date : December 17, 2010 - Power Mac Center

Just in time for Christmas -- The most popular slate of 2010, Apple's landmark product - The iPad, will finally see official release in the Republic of the Philippines on December 17, 2010 via Power Mac Center.

Here's the press statement by PMC released just a few minutes ago --

Still thinking of what to give your loved ones this Christmas? It’s time to finalize your list now that the ultimate holiday gift this season is about to arrive!

The much-awaited Apple iPad as well as its original Apple accessories will be officially released in the Philippines and will be available at Power Mac Center Apple Premium Reseller (APR) stores beginning December 17, 2010. APR stores of Power Mac Center (PMC) are located in Greenbelt 3, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, The Annex at SM City North EDSA and TriNoma.

Power Mac Center will also conduct free workshops on how you can maximize this exciting Apple gadget on December 17, 18 and 19, 2010 at the Power Mac Center Classroom of Greenbelt 3 at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00pm, and TriNoma at 6:00 pm.

  1. wait...who needs ipad 1.0 when 2.0 is lurking around the corner? hmmm dual camera, updated hardware specs, release date 2Q of 2011.. i waited over 6 months.. do u think i can't wait for addl 6 when i'll get 3x better than what i'll get now at basically same price? oh boy. apple can forget PH for its ipad 1.0. we pinoys don't matter to them anyway! good luck with your official BS
