SKK Mobile Lynx Lite Price is Just Php 2,999?! Specs and Design, Unveiled!
SKK Mobile hasn't disclosed the exact sales figures of its midrange best-seller SKK Lynx just yet -- but based on its popularity among young consumers and sales-reps' enthusiasm about the model, I'm inclined to believe that it could very well be the most successful handset from the local company thus far.
And perhaps to jump on the sheer popularity of the initial Lynx release (for that hardworking 'halo' effect), SKK Mobile has deemed it best to release a 'lite' version of the handset with watered-down technical specifications matched by an even more affordable price tag.
Clearly crafted with young gadget users in mind, the SKK Mobile Lynx Lite comes in a variety of fun colors, namely, Yellow, Light Pink (Flesh), and Green, aside from the usual Black and White options. Just from looking at photos of the device, it appears to be quite slim and fairly elegant.
As for the technical specifications, they are actually very decent for a totally budget-friendly Android smartphone. SKK Mobile Lynx Lite sports a 5-inch qHD IPS display, 5 MegaPixel main camera with LED flash, 2 MegaPixel front cam, and a 2,000 mAh battery pack. Under the hood, this Dual SIM, 3G-enabled handset runs vanilla Adnroid 4.4.2 KitKat OS with its 1.3 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A7 and Mali 400 GPU based MediaTek MT6582 chipset, has 1GB of RAM, and comes with 8GB of ROM that you can beef up using the microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB.
So how much will it be? Well, as of March 28, 2015, SKK Mobile has yet to announce the official SRP of this model. But as you can see in the screengrab above, an online poster flaunting the price of Lynx Lite - which is Php 2,999 - has been leaked online. SKK hasn't confirmed nor denied the veracity of this information but off hand, I think it's legit.

According to the company, "We are proudly announcing that SKK Mobile Lynx Lite is another AFFORDABLE CHOICE of a Quad Core Device. SKK Mobile Lynx Lite will be priced at Php 2,999. SKK Mobile Lynx Lite Quad Core will hit the stores soon. Another #SulitAtKayangKayang phone for you."
