Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Dimensions, Leaked

Just a few hours ago, trusted tech site GSMArena posted images showing what they claim to be the dimensions of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus 2017 flagship phablet vis-a-vis that of last year's best-selling Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Looking at the leaked graphic, it's clear that the Galaxy S8 Plus - with 152.38 x 78.51 x 7.94 millimeters measurements - is both taller and wider than its counterpart from 2016. Additionally, this year's smartphone-tablet-hybrid model is expected to feature a larger curved display - measuring at least 6.3 inches across - compared to the regular Samsung Galaxy S8

And speaking of the standard SGS8, GSMArena likewise uploaded the image above, which shows its purported size relative to that of SGS7 from 2016. The refresh is expected to have dimensions of 140.14 x 72.20 x 7.30 millimeters and to have a screen size of 5.7-inches, which is a considerable leap coming from the 5.1-inch display of its direct predecessor.

Last week, smartphone case maker Ghostek shared images of the "Samsung Galaxy S8" wrapped in one of their upcoming handset hard shell designs.

Looking back at the Note7 debacle of 2016, we can say that Samsung has a lot to prove and make up for this year. And if we were to believe these leaked content, it appears that the Korean Giant has decided to go big in 2017 to prove that they are still king. I mean, if these images are for real, the display size boost in Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus would be tremendous.
