2017 Nokia 6 Android Smartphone Coming to the Philippines via Kimstore?

"Mark, if [HMD Global] won't release it in the Philippines and it's available in other countries, I can bring Nokia 6 here."

That's what my good friend Kim Lato of Kimstore told me when I asked her earlier today if she intends to make Nokia 6 Android smartphone available locally via her popular online channel.

I guess the only thing that will keep her from bringing that model here is if there's little demand for the product. So if you want Kimstore to carry Nokia 6, let Kim know how much you love this specific handset model by messaging her staff in social media.

Currently, Nokia 6 is only available in China with SRP of around 1,699 CNY or Php 12,500. If Kimstore would bring it here, expect to pay a bit more; Maybe in the range of Php 14,000 to Php 16,000. Why? Well, that's business for you.

So far, HMD Global hasn't given word on Nokia 6 availability in other key markets for mobile device apart from China -- so online stores like that of Kim are obviously our only hope if we want to get our hands on this product.

Earlier today - January 20, 2017, HMD Global carried out its first flash sale of the Nokia via Chinese e-commerce site JD and as expected, all the units were sold out in just a minute. No exact sales figures were disclosed but the handset did get more than 1 Million registrations since its formal announcement on January 4.
