What to do with Chipping or Cracking Paint of Nokia E90 Communicator ?
Nokia E90, released in late 2007, is easily one of Nokia's best phone models. The widescreen, the relatively small frame (vs. earlier communicator units), the strong hinge, the user interface -- I could go on and on quoting features that make e90 a strong release:

However, one of the biggest weaknesses in the design of this phone is...

the case paint that easily chips or cracks over time -- which is a bit frustrating, considering the price of the gadget.
If your Nokia E90 is suffering from a similar condition and you are slowly feeling shy when taking it out of your bag in a cafe, this idea might offer some help. Try it at your own risk.
Japsky - a friend from TipidCP - after noticing that his E90 has become quite less of a beauty due to chipping, altogether decided to just remove all the paint off the front case to expose the metal underneath the surface:

He then used metal polish to give it a shine:

I don't know about you, but I think it looks great. Brilliant idea, eh?
