Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 Price Philippines, Specs, Release Date

If you remember, last year, Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 was the first smartphone announced by the Korean company.

Call me superstitious but I think the name of that maiden handset proved to be very lucky for Samsung in 2011. I mean, the company went on to become the top handset manufacturer in the world that year -- for the first time in history, no less. Ace!

This year, it appears Samsung wants to repeat that same success story. And as you might have guessed, it all begins with the company's formal announcement of another Ace to kick off the year.

Although sporting specifications not too different from those of its predecessor - aside from the processor, OS upon shipping and internal memory, Ace Plus nonetheless comes with a refreshed design that - in my opinion - is a lot sleeker and more eye-catching than the look of S5830.

Just like the Ace from last year, Ace Plus features a 5 MegaPixel camera and a video recorder, and supports a variety of connectivity options including Wifi, 3G and Bluetooth.

So when will this phone reach the Philippines and what will its price tag be? According to our TP Insider, Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 will reach the Philippines within this January with a suggested retail price of around Php 16,000 - Php 17,000.
