New Amazon Kindle Shipping to the Philippines ? Kindle Goes International !

The new Amazon Kindle will now be available in more than 100 countries. Yes, Philippines included.
"We have millions of customers in countries all over the world who read English-language books. Kindle enables these customers to think of a book and download it wirelessly in less than 60 seconds," Jeff Bezos, Amazon.com Founder and CEO, said in a statement.
Kababayan, you can grab one for $279 or around Php13,000 (CCBT) via Amazon.com . Shipment will start on October 19 and e-books will be available via 3G and EDGE/GPRS networks.

Check the specs at Amazon.com. This device will reduce your bookshelf by 100%. Imagine buying books but keeping a minimalist image for your room or condo. Yowza. I would recommend buying this.
