Blackberry fans, feast your eyes on the first leaked image of the upcoming iteration to the popular Blackberry Curve line:

Blackberry Curve 9300 series follows BB Curve 8500 in RIM's entry-level category. As you can see in the photo, BB Curve 9300 has quite thick chrome accents that give it that svelte, high-end flair -- almost approximating that of the BB Bold line (e.g. Blackberry Bold 9700). Actually, 9300 looks almost identical to Blackberry Curve 8520; the latter is just a tad more plasticky.

Blackberry Curve 8520
Features-wise, BB Curve 9300 has all the functionalities of the Curve series it succeeded; like Wifi and Bluetooth support and Blackberry Enterprise Server among other things. However, unlike its predecessor, 9300 supports 3G connectivity.
What keeps this phone in the entry-level category, you ask? What keeps its affordable? It's the screen. Apparently, BB Curve 9300 has a low-resolution 240 x 320 pixels QVGA screen vs. Bold's 480 x 360 pixels screen resolution. Quite disappointing, I know. But again, that's how it is.
