Twitter Login Page : Through The Years, 2006 Onwards
Nope, it's not Twitter's anniversary nor is it Jack Dorsey's birthday.
I was in WaybackMachine earlier, trying to see how some of my favorite websites looked during their early years. I typed Twitter.com in the search box and got these results. Just thought of sharing the screenshots with you as I find them totally inspiring; This set chronicles just how much a good website can grow in a span of 6 years.

2006
Twitter was created by Jack Dorsey in March 2006. He envisioned it to be an SMS-based social network.
2007
The site's popularity started to take off in 2007 with 400,000 tweets sent per quarter.
2008
Verification program was launched in 2008 -- allowing 'celebrities' and companies to get a verified Twitter account.
2009
A lot of changes in the site's interface were implemented in 2009. Some of the elements added were the search bar on the header and the trending topics sidebar.
2010
Twitter generated $45 million in annual revenue in 2010. In the same year, the company announced an investment lead by Digital Sky Technology amounting to $800 million.
2011
In June 2011, Twitter launched its integrated photo-sharing service allowing Tweeps to upload and attach a photo to a tweet.

The most followed Filipino on Twitter is the lovely Kapamilya star, Anne Curtis, with 1,633,729 followers as of writing.
