Miss Jasmin Cagsawa of Ardent Communications, the PR agency of HTC in the Philippines, has just disclosed to TP that HTC Desire Z and HTC Desire HD are set to be launched in the Philippines on November 23, 2010 -- that's next Tuesday! So yes, HTC fans, rejoice!
HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z are the company's flagship Android handsets for Q4 2010 and I'm guessing, until Q2 2011. Both phones run on Android 2.2 OS Froyo and support practically all connectivity options you'll need in this day and age.
Comparing the two, HTC Desire HD has a more sizable screen (4.3" vs. 3.7" of HTC Desire Z), faster processor (1Ghz vs. 800Mhz of Z), and more powerful camera (8MP vs. 5MP of Z) and multimedia features set. At first glance, it would appear that HD thoroughly slays Z in practically all areas, but HTC Desire Z actually flaunts something that HTC Desire HD can only dream of having -- an actual slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. This is the one feature users who type a lot on their smartphones would absolutely appreciate having in their handsets.
So there you, HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z are really arriving in Pinas soon.
Kindly stay tuned for TP updates on the handsets' pricing details and exact release date.
