Android-2.2-Froyo-run HTC Desire Z dons a unique 'pop hinge' that reveals a QWERTY keyboard for convenient typing. This keyboard supports a variety shortcuts and has two customizable keys for instant access to your favorite apps or functions. HTC Desire Z packs a 5MP camera that also records 720p HD videos and is also the first phone to be powered by the new 800MHz Qualcomm 7230 chip for enhanced performance and greater battery life.

HTC Desire Z is set to land in major Asian and European markets this October before hitting NA later in 2010. The company's yet to announce its suggested retail price but off hand, we can expect Desire Z to be priced like any other flagship phone.
