When almost netbooks feature largely similar specifications, what makes one stand out from the pack?
Looking at Lenovo Ideapad S10-3, I'd say it all comes down to design.
Lenovo S10-3 Ideapad is the third-generation update to Lenovo's netbook line. It follows Ideapad S10-2 released in the Philippines in June of 2009. Aside from its improved form-factor - donning a sleeker frame and a chicklet-style keyboard - and its more energy-efficient processor platform - Intel Pine Trail - S10-3 offers quite few appreciable differences when compared against S10-2.
Here are the specifications of Lenovo Ideapad S10-3 (, which you can compare to Lenovo Ideapad S10-2 specs via the link):
1.6GHz, Intel® Atom™ N450 Processor 512MB Cache, 667Mhz FSB
10.1” Wide Screen Display,
Ergonomic Big-Size Keyboard and Touch Pad,
Built-in Dolby 2.0 Stereo Speakers and Microphone,
802.11b/g/n Wireless Lan
6 cell Lithium Ion battery, 7 Hour max.
Windows 7 Starter Licensed Software.
Lenovo Ideapad S10-3 is now out in the Philippines with a price tag of roughly Php 24,000 at authorized Lenovo retail outlets.
