2010 iPod Touch 4th Generation Unveiled - Flaunts Retina Display, iOS 4.1 with Game Center!

Finally (to complete the Apple's 2010 iPod line-up), Steve Jobs unveiled the long-rumored refresh to the most popular portable game player in the world today.

Meet the 4th Generation iPod Touch --

The new iPod Touch is like the iPhone 4 -- only without phone functions, obviously. It dons an even sleeker form factor than original and features a 3.5" retina display like the iPhone 4 with razor-sharp 326ppi (96 x 640 pixels) resolution, a camera at the back that can shoot 720p high definition videos, a front camera for FaceTime with another 2010 iPod Touch or iPhone 4, an Apple A4 processor, iOS 4.1 optimized for gaming, a 3-axis gyroscope (which is more precise than an accelerometer) and playback time of up to 40 hours.

iPod Touch 4th Generation will available next week for $229 for the 8GB version, $299 for the 32GB version and $399 for the 64GB version.

Please stay tuned for more TP updates about the new iPod Touch.
