Canon EOS 550D Rebel T2i DSLR Announced ! Specs, Photos, Price, Hands-on Video !

Taking HD videos: The most outstanding feature of Canon's latest flagship release, Canon EOS 550D or Rebel T2i.

This 18.7-megapixel CMOS shooter supports Full HD 1080p 30fps video capture on top of the regular 720p 60fps footage. You also get a stereo mic, which gives videos a crisp and clear sound.

Rebel T2i features a 63-zone Dual Layer Metering System together with Canon’s DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor, a new 3-inch 3:2 aspect LCD with full-screen support for video previews and SD, SDHC and SDXC memory card support.

Canon Rebel T2i DSLR will be released in the US come March 2010, with the body having a price tag of $799.99 or roughly Php 36,800. You may also opt to get the "T2i plus EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens" bundle for $899.99 or around Php 41,400.
