ANGRY BIRDS : Rovio Executives Talk About The History and Future of Their Greatest Game Thus Far

Perhaps like millions of other Nokia N900 users the world over, my favorite game to play on my phone is Rovio's Angry Birds.

Why do I like it? I guess it's the whole package; the totally cute birds and admittedly cuddly-looking pigs, the smooth graphics, the accuracy in the trajectory of flying birds, the ear-catching and borderline-annoying sound effects, the way the birds explode into a flurry of feathers a few seconds after hitting something solid, everything. I really don't think there's a single bad or misplaced element in the game; Angry Birds, as a whole, is plain amazing.

For other Angry Birds fans out there, I'd like to share with you a GigaOM video of Mikael Hed and Peter Vesterbacka of Rovio in Finland discussing how Angry Birds came about and where the company intends to take the game --

Angry Birds Movie?! Why not?!
