Don't buy a netbook based on specs alone; touch the machine, check the build quality, turn it on, see how fast it runs the operating system and the softwares you need, do a side-by-side comparison with other netbooks. That's the best way to do it.

By combining the processor, the integrated graphics card and the memory controller all in one chip, the Pine Trail platform allows new netbooks running on Intel Atom N450 to be 20% less power-consuming and 60% smaller than their Diamond Ville powered counterparts (e.g. Intel Atom N270 and N280).
