I just bought this model. I'm contented with it except for the battery life but that's expected.
ReplyDeleteSuccessfully installed Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04 on this computer with SmartBro Plan 999 USB Modem working. I still have problems with getting UNE 10.04's Cheese to recognize the built-in webcam. Looking for workaround or fixes...
I got the older sibling, the MSI U210X and except for the slightly better graphics card of the U230X, there's not much difference between the two.

I forgot to add that these MSI netbooks is good for gaming too and I even use it for making VoIP calls with my Onesuite.com VoIP service while on the road using SmartBro USB modem.
ReplyDeleteI'm just curious why is it labeled here as AMD Congo Mobile Technology while on the MSI website its using AMD Yukon Mobile Technology
