Just from looking at the specs sheet, it's clear that Cherry Mobile Nova - part of the current Red Label or High-End Android trio of CM - generally has a better specifications set than Samsung Galaxy S. I mean, name it -- Camera? Battery? Screen Size? Memory?

Samsung Galaxy 5 is, of course, cheaper by exactly Php 510. Note that Galaxy 5 is also the cheapest Android phone in the market right now.

As for actual phone construction, I've held both devices and I'd say they're quite similar in terms of build quality. Both are well-made, no flexes, no odd gaps in parts. Anyway, should you experience hardware problems on either of these phones, both companies have their own service centers.

I've played briefly with both phones and off hand, I think Cherry Mobile Nova offers a better experience overall. Its pinch to zoom screen feature, snappy performance, better camera and sizable display make it a wonderful device to own, in my humble opinion.

But you, what do you think? Which phone do you prefer?
