OK. This is very reason why so many peeps are suddenly claiming to be 'photographers' nowadays.(Not that it's a bad thing, of course. Don't you tend to think that there's no way this world will ever have too many photographers?)
DSLR's - even the ones made by the best camera companies - are just becoming cheaper and cheaper by the day. Whereas, just a few years back, it would have cost an arm and a leg to actually own one. Now, you can get them for as low as 700 USD or roughly PhP 32,000 brand new, before taxes.
Case in point: Nikon D3100, the first DSLR camera which features constant auto-focus while shooting video.
