Nokia N900 Touchscreen: In a Class of its Own - Watch it in Action!

Working on Nokia N900's resistive touchscreen makes you think twice about saying that Resistive is a whole lot better than Capacitive. (Read TP's Resistive vs. Capacitive touchscreen discussion via the link)

Consider this as TP's testimonial on Nokia N900's screen quality:

Nokia N900's touchscreen is easily the best resistive touchscreen I've ever used. Unlike resistive screen on phones by other manufacturers, you don't really need to press too hard on N900's screen to get feedback; It detects the slightest pressure and delivers the quickest response. It's just in a class of its own.

Nokia N900's screen is so good, I actually think its better than the capacitive touchscreen of some phones out there. Sure, N900's screen doesn't support multi-touch gestures but I believe it more than makes up for it with sheer responsiveness and incredible accuracy -- Nokia N900's powerful processor helps a lot in making this possible.

I bet some of you have worked on capacitive screens that deliver choppy performance; like, when you touch an icon or swipe photos, nothing happens and you have to repeat the gesture more than thrice to actually get feedback? So far, I haven't experienced such horror working on Nokia N900. And I don't think I ever will.

But as always, don't take my word for it. Visit a Nokia Store near you and give Nokia N900 a test run. You'll love the experience, I'm sure. I can vouch for the quality of this high-end smartphone.
